My Baby Brother...

Mommy has a lot of pictures to post, but here are some of my favorites of my new baby brother. His name is Carl Herman Kuhl V, and we call him Quint. He was born at 3:50 Wednesday afternoon and weighed 8lbs, 12 oz and was 21 inches long. He's really cute, but most of the time I don't even know he's around. I point at him a lot and am interested sometimes, but I'm having more fun being spoiled by Mommoo and Nana (Angela). Mommy said I was a lot easier to have....she is going to put a time line on her blog of the last couple of days. Also, she said it's going to be too hard to keep up with more than one blog, so she's going to make a family blog...she wants to know if anyone has any clever names for our family blog....I suggested "All about Love" but she thinks baby bro will get his feelings hurt if we leave him out.

18 Months...

I haven't had my 18 month check up yet, but I turned 18 months on the 16th...here are some pix of me on that day...

Mommy's Little Seamstress

Sometimes when Mommy is in the shower, I wander around her room and play with random things I find...sometimes it's shoes or hats in her closet, sometimes I'll look at magazines under her bedside table, and sometimes I just carry around my baby doll and find different places to put her down for a nap, like in Daddy's shoe boxes. Recently, I have been carrying around this measuring tape I found and sizing up different things. Mommy thought it was really cute and decided to take my picture.

Practice makes perfect...

This looks comfy

Multi-tasking

I'm trying to get a hold of MomMoo, but she's not answering her phone...maybe I'll just have a little snack of some cheerios!

Christmas at the Rauches

It was fun to be at MomMoo and Papa's this year too! I actually got to see all of my cousins (except Jacob...I haven't met him yet). It was so much different than being in Louisville because in Louisville, I was the only kid, but here there were lots of kids. I was so excited because I got a carseat for my baby doll! It matches the stroller and the bunk beds I got too! I got some Littlest Pet Shop stuff and even some diapers! It was interesting to Mommy because I was interested in baby Sable. I wanted to hold her and kept pointing at her when other people were holding her. Mommy hopes that I'm the same way with my baby brother or sister that will be here in a few weeks. I liked following my cousins around, but I liked snacking and snuggling with Papa and Crew too! I hope my cousins come and visit me sometime soon...I already miss playing with them!

Christmas at Kuhls

We were back and forth between Cincinnati and Louisville this year. Mommy and Daddy really wanted to go to Southeast's Christmas Eve service, so after I woke up from my nap, I changed clothes into my pretty Christmas dress and we headed to church. I had a hard time going to the toddler room...I know I used to go there all the time when I was a little baby, but I had forgotten how big it was compared to my church and it was a little scary when Mommy dropped me off. Mommy seemed a little scared for me too. But it ended up being fun once I got used to it. Plus, Mommy and Daddy said they really liked the service. When we got home, I practiced the piano a little bit before I went to bed with Daddy's Daddy (I'm still not sure what I'm supposed to call him...CH?) Then I went to bed and the next morning all my aunts and uncles were there on Daddy's side to begin opening the mound of gifts! It was so fun. I was a little bit overwhelmed and sometimes I just wanted to snack on the cinnamon rolls with Aunt Emma, but I started to get excited once we all started opening gifts. I got lots of stuff I loved, but my favorite things were the rocking horse, the princess tea set, and some bunk beds for my baby dolls. Mommy even let me stay in my comfy Christmas pj's that Aunt Ellie got me!

Christmas at home

Since we were going back to Louisville and Cincinnati to see our family this year for Christmas, Mommy and Daddy had our small Christmas at home a few days before Christmas. I had so much fun. I woke up early because I was so excited to see if Santa remembered to come to my house early, and he did! But, I was so hungry, so we ate breakfast first. We had Daddy's egg casserole, banana smoothies, and Mommy's cinnamon rolls. Then, we got to start on the presents. I got a lot of good stuff. At first I didn't really know what was going on and would just look at Mommy and Daddy as they helped me open gifts, but after a couple, I started to realize what was going on. My favorite gifts were my new baby doll and the stroller that matches her, and my new keyboard. It has a microphone so I can sing as I play. I can tell Mommy and Daddy really love me!
